Your finished work will serve as a wonderful reminder of Hakone and can be used in daily life.

● Capacity: Up to 12 people per group (One group per day, private instruction)

● Content: Create about two pieces using 1kg of clay
(Feel free to design items such as mugs, plates, teacups, or bowls)

● Duration: Approximately 2-3 hours

● Participation Fee: 5,000 yen (Includes materials and firing costs)

● Delivery of Works: Your finished work will be shipped cash on delivery once fired (2-3 months later)

Sengokugama offers a monthly ceramic class (individual lessons).
For the first five months (five sessions), participants will create assigned pieces,
after which they can make works of their choice.
Recommended for those who want to seriously pursue ceramics!

We offer ceramic workshops at kindergartens, elementary schools, and vocational schools.

● At Sengokuhara Kindergarten, graduating students created commemorative works.

● At Sengokuhara Elementary School, 5th and 6th graders participated in pottery-making.


6th graders had a hands-on experience with primitive firing,
and their works were displayed at the town's cultural festival.


● PTA members at Sengokuhara Elementary School also participated in pottery-making.


● Tokyo Confectionery School conducted a ceramic experience workshop to enhance awareness of dishware.



Additionally, a bi-weekly pottery class (Group Yuu) is held at the Hakone Town Education Center.
(Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
